An 8-part conversation series exploring the mythology, wisdom, and power of the sea.
Lauren DrescherThrough dialogue with marine scientists, fishermen, explorers, divers, artists, and storytellers, the project centers on the understanding that the sea, in all its power, wisdom, and beauty, has something to teach us. Our goal is to shift the lens from extraction and crisis toward reverence, relationship, and remembrance. This is a gathering of voices committed to restoring a deeper cultural connection to the ocean.
ABOUT THE HOST
I’m Chloë Greene, a creative director, designer, and visual storyteller based in Los Angeles.
I’ve been scuba diving since I was a kid, when my dad put a scuba tank on my back at ten years old in Acapulco. The ocean has been a throughline in my life ever since.
Throughout my career, I’ve shaped brand worlds and creative narratives for big global companies. My work translates complex ideas into clear, emotionally resonant campaigns and design systems, blending strategy, visual storytelling, and cultural insight. It felt high time to focus these skills on something more meaningful to me.
The ocean has always given me profound inspiration, depth, and meaning. When I was ever stuck or lost, I knew where to turn. Through this storytelling project, I explore the beauty, intelligence, and wisdom of the sea and the ways it shapes those of us who spend time within it.
I’m also the founder of Moon Scuba, an outdoor brand for scuba divers.
